یوتیوب انتشار ویدیو‌های ترویج‌دهنده‌ فروش اسلحه را ممنوع می‌کند

 

از ماه آینده، یوتیوب انتشار ویدیوهایی را که دارای محتوای ترویج‌دهنده‌ی فروش اسلحه هستند، ممنوع می‌کند.

 

این هفته یوتیوب اعلام کرد که از ماه آینده، انتشار ویدیوهایی که دارای محتوایی با درون‌مایه ترویج استفاده از سلاح گرم هستند، سخت‌تر خواهد کرد.

به‌دنبالِ حادثه تیراندازی ماه گذشته در دبیرستانِ شهر پارک‌لند ایالات فلوریدا، انتقادات نسبت به فروش آزاد سلاح گرم در ایالات‌متحده آمریکا افزایش یافت و اکنون یوتیوب به‌عنوان بزرگ‌ترین پلتفرم ویدیویی جهان، تصمیم به تغییر در سیاست‌های خود دارد.

این سرویس که تحت مالکیت گوگل قرار دارد، از ممنوعیت انتشار ویدیو‌ی ساخت و فروش سلاح گرم و لوازم جانبی آن‌ در آینده‌ی نزدیک سخن گفته است. بر اساس گزارش گوگل، سیاست تازه‌ی این شرکت حاصل تحقیق متخصصان در ۴ ماه گذشته است.

درحالی‌که تبلیغات فروش اسلحه‌ را از مدت‌ها پیش ممنوع کرده‌ایم، اخیراً به تولیدکنندگان محتوا اطلاع داده‌ایم به‌زودی محتوایی که باعث تبلیغِ فروش سلاح یا تولیدکنندگان آن می‌شود، کنار خواهیم گذاشت.

برطبق گزارش یوتیوب، این قانون به‌دنبال تغییر سیاست‌های منظم این شرکت در قبال تولیدکنندگان محتوا وضع شده است.

پیش‌تر، این شرکت به‌دنبال حادثه‌ی لاس‌ وگاس در پاییز گذشته که منجر به کشته‌ شدن ۵۸ نفر شد، ویدیوهایی را که اقدام به آموزشِ افزایشِ سرعتِ اسلحه‌ می‌کردند، حذف کرد. حال بنیاد ملی تیراندازی ایالات‌ متحده در بیانیه‌ای نسبت به این تصمیم واکنش نشان داده و درباره‌ی پیامد‌های این اتفاق در جلوگیری از جریان آزادی بیان، ابراز نگرانی کرده است.

چند روز پس از اتفاقی که در دبیرستان «اِستون‌من داگلاس» رخ داد، ویدیویی توطئه‌آمیز در رابطه‌ با یکی از بازمانده‌‌های این حادثه، تبدیل به یکی از ویدیو‌های پربازدید یوتیوب شد؛ با این حال، یوتیوب سریعاً این محتوا را از وب‌سایت خود پاک‌سازی کرد. از همین‌رو، مدیرعامل این سرویس اعلام کرده است که شرکتش برنامه دارد با همکاری ویکیپدیا، جلوی نشر این‌گونه محتوای عوام‌فریب را بگیرد؛ البته ویکیپدیا اعلام کرده است که در جریان چنین برنامه‌ای قرار ندارد.
