به نقل از پردیس فناوری کیش از چند سال گذشته اقتصاد دیجیتال بر دنیای مشاغل و زندگی حرفه‌ای ما به‌شدت تاثیر گذاشته است. طبق نتایج یک تحقیق، سرعت تغییرات ۱۰ برابر و شدت آن ۳۰۰۰ برابر اولین انقلاب صنعتی است.

روبات‌ها در آینده ممکن است ۵ میلیون شغل را در ۱۵ اقتصاد برتر جهان از بین ببرند. انتظار می رود در اروپا،‌ از هر ۱۰ شغل،‌ ۴ الی ۶ شغل اتوماتیک شود. خطر از دست رفتن مشاغل در کشورهای جنوب اروپا بیشتر است.

در کشورهای عضو گروه بیست، از هر ۵ کارفرما، ۲ کارفرما ادعا می‌کنند که افراد واجد شرایط را برای استخدام پیدا نمی‌کنند. یعنی در اروپا تا سال ۲۰۲۰ میلادی، شاید ۸۲۵ هزار فرصت شغلی خالی بماند.

اتوماسیون مشاغل همچنین باعث خواهد شد که هر کدام از ما در طول زندگی حرفه‌ای خود، ۱۵ الی ۲۰ شغل مختلف داشته باشیم.

امسال مجمع اقتصادی بروکسل با موضوع تاثیر فناوری‌های دیجیتال و اتوماسیون مشاغل بر بهره وری اقتصادی و زندگی شهروندان برگزار شد.
